Profile Brennan O’Dowd has over 18 years of transportation experience. As the founder of a technology service provider for the freight forwarding industry, he has assimilated a unique viewpoint of the transportation industry. Brennan began his career in the Freight Forwarding industry as an accounting clerk. Realizing he really didn’t care much for accounting he moved into operations where he discovered his passion for logistics. He rose rapidly in just two years from an entry-level position to running both the San Francisco and Los Angeles terminals. As the current CEO of 7LFreight, he has led the company to year over year growth since its inception and continues to lead following its acquisition in 2022 by the Freightos Group. 7LFreight works with more than 260 indirect air carriers in the US who generate more than 50 million quotes annually through the 7LFreight platform, including real-time eBookings with dozens of global airlines and hundreds of LTL carriers. 7LFreight recently won the 2021 Preferred Vendor of the Year from the Air Forwarders Association, demonstrating their knowledge of the industry and the high level of work they perform for their customers and vendors.
